Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing in the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitors. She made her return to fight Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa in an unanimous decision. She went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina defeated Nievera by her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round through knees to the body. Antonina took a UFC deal following her win. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious with a unanimous decision. She was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina bounced off the loss, and won Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night in the fight. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her three subsequent matches she won over Ariane Lipski while losing to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee.
