Grande was a young girl who began acting and singing. In 2008 she won an acting role in the Broadway production of 13, and she soon started appearing in small parts on television shows. In 2010, she had her biggest breakthrough, landing a part on Nickelodeon's TV show Victorious. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. After the demise of the sitcom her character was Sam & Cat.
