Ali's most memorable project came when she brought Ashley Banks to life on the hit TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1990. The show, which featured Will Smith as the star it was a huge hit. It was among NBC's top shows, ranking 12th among the most watched shows from 1990 to 1992. It also earned two Golden Globe nominations.
